Bruce Avery and Prudence Upton work as a team. One of us is your primary attorney, but you will benefit from our collective experience and expertise. We discuss our cases together to explore all possibilities to help our clients. Either one or both of us will represent you at various times throughout the process.
As soon as you sign our retainer, you join the team. We know the law, the process, and the officials. You are the expert on all the facts and events in your life, so we rely on you to give us all the information we need to put the evidence before the Court to best present your case. We'll go over all those documents with you so you will understand the process. As we do, you may think of further information that we can include to make a stronger case.
Our staff will become important to you, too. The first voice you'll hear or face you'll see is our receptionist, Whitney - she'll get you to the right person for whatever you need. June Severinsen is our office manager - she'll help you understand your bill. She and Angela Wyett are paralegals. They will do many things in your case and will know what is going on just as we do. Feel free to ask them questions and share your concerns with them. They will answer your questions if they can. They are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice, and they know what they cannot do. Nonetheless, they can help you a lot and, at the same time, save you money.
We maintain an up-beat, cheerful office that takes each case individually and seriously. All of us want the best outcome for you.
What will you do? Your job is to give us the information the Court needs to make its decisions and to show up for every appointment, hearing, and trial as required, dressed appropriately. |
